I hold the right to approve of or deny any commission.

Commissioners must be at least 16 years of age.

Turn around time depends on the commission, but is generally slow (a couple weeks to a month). If you have a deadline for your commission, let me know beforehand. Occasional reminders are appreciated, but please don't rush me to finish your commission if a deadline was not stated.

I will provide the commissioner with work-in-progress images as I work for frequent check-ins. More WIP images will be provided at the commissioner's request.

A visual reference is preferred. If you have no visual reference, please provide a detailed description of what you would like drawn.

Price may vary depending on the complexity of a character or scene.
Pose corrections may be requested until the end of the line art phase. Large changes made after this point will cost extra. My mistakes (ex: missing important details) will be fixed for no cost at any point.

I require full payment upfront. A payment plan may be discussed for orders over $100.
All prices listed are in USD and are subject to change. Prices are also non-negotiable. Do not send payment until I tell you to do so.
Payment is accepted through PayPal or Venmo, though other methods are available for consideration.

I will only issue a full refund if you are unhappy with the initial sketch WIP. If you are unhappy with the piece at any point beyond that and request a refund, a 50% refund can be issued. The 50% kept is to compensate for work that had been done.

It will be assumed that the commissioner has read all TOS and will be treated as such. Not knowing about a rule does not excuse you from my TOS.

Usage Rights

You can post the commissioned image on your social media, but please be sure to credit me (Ember03/EmberSurge)

I hold the rights to the finished drawing. Therefore, I hold the rights to use the drawing to promote myself.

Commissioners are allowed to: use the drawing for personal use unless stated otherwise, print the drawing, post or otherwise use the art to promote the commissioner, and claim the rights to their character.

Commissioners may not trace, edit, or otherwise alter their commission outside of resizing the image as a whole or other such small changes. Do NOT remove my signature or watermark from any drawing.

A commission may not be used for commercial use (merch, book covers, etc.) unless previously stated. You may NOT use my art in anything involving NFTs, AI art, or cryptocurrencies. A piece used commercially will be priced differently, so I need to know beforehand.
